Working to maximize your health benefits!
Most individuals who work for the State Department, USAID, and a few other federal departments have access to the Foreign Services Health Benefit Plan. As it turns out, this is an incredible wellness-focused health plan that allows you to access chiropractic care, massage, and acupuncture services on an as-needed basis, without having to jump through a lot of procedural hurdles demonstrating medical necessity or having to be in a health crisis.
All 3 of these services can be an important part of a wellness regimen by not just addressing acute pain issues, but, when scheduled on a wellness basis, can help you feel stronger, more balanced, flexible, and at your best as much as possible each and every day.
At Body Harmony, these services enjoy 100% (or very close to 100%) reimbursement through our office as a provider of therapeutic (versus “spa”) care. Please reach out for details!
Services We Offer for FSBP Members
Chiropractic Services
Whether you're dealing with the classic "computer neck" of our times, or you have chronic issues in your neck, back, or limbs, chiropractic care can be a wonderful relief. We combine it with therapeutic movement that improves your health and moves you to closer to your wellness goals efficiently and cost-effectively. After the first exam, chiropractic sessions are covered at 100% by FSBP.
Specialized Massages
Special 75-minute or 90-minute massages for Foreign Service Benefit Plan members. Detailed receipt for reimbursement provided. The massage combines therapeutic and relaxation techniques, that we are able to bill as separate services, making full reimbursement possible for the 75-minute, and only $30 out of pocket for the 90-minute with FSBP!
Acupuncture
Our 30-minute add-on acupuncture service is designed to enhance chiropractic or massage experience and can be covered 100% by FSBP.
