Body Harmony of Arlington is pleased to be expanding our mobile massage services in November 2022!
The Body Harmony "Mobile Massage Squad" will come to your place of business with massage chair, relaxing music, even aromatherapy if you choose.
Therapists are fully- and expertly-vetted, licensed, and insured. Body Harmony of Arlington is a proud and active member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Chair massage is a fully-clothed, professional experience. No oil is used, no messy clothes or oily hair. :)
A typical office-sized 8 x 10 room is adequate.
A disposable headrest cover is used for each person, and the chair is wiped down between sessions.
Plan for 20-minute time slots for each employee. Expect 12 employees to fill our typical 4-1/2 hour time-slot (30 minutes are built in for "catch-up" time, therapist water-break...your massage therapist works hard!)
For more than a dozen employees, we can schedule back-to-back sequential days, or 2 therapists at the same time if available!

Decrease stress, enhance performance:
"Massage at work also can help improve general feelings of contentment and health. A study on work-site acupressure and seated massage improved overall feelings of well-being among workers.
Employees receiving the massage reported feeling an increase in general well-being, less depression and anxiety symptoms, an increased ability to control their emotions and fewer sleep disturbances. "
"How Massage Therapy Enhances Work Performance And Career Success"
"The study showed an improvement in brain performance and found that 15 minutes of chair massage was more effective than a 15-minute break to reduce anxiety. Employees receiving chair massage also had an increase in speed and accuracy in completing math equations.
The brain’s ability to function more effectively combined with a decrease in anxiety and increase in feelings of contentment and well-being can result in improved job performance."
Use peppermint, rosemary, and other essential oils to stimulate cognitive ability and positively influence our brain in other ways. This does not include artificial fragrances "just because it smells lemon-y" such as plug-ins, "Febreze", or even commercial scent-distribution systems for your HVAC. It is the actual, natural organic molecules of the plant that impact our physiology, not our perception of the scent.
"According to PubMed, "Aromatherapy uses plant materials and aromatic plant oils, including essential oils, and other aromatic compounds for the purpose of altering one's mood, cognitive, psychological, or physical well-being." It is currently being studied as a natural treatment for stress, anxiety, and even for symptom management in cancer patients."
